Accessing the website and server logs

When you access the website, connection data necessary for its technical operation are processed. These may include, in particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, the file requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type, operating system and the page previously visited. This processing serves to keep the website secure and operational and to identify technical faults and abusive access.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Hostinger. To the extent that Hostinger processes personal data as part of its hosting service, it does so to provide and secure the website technically. Further information is available in Hostinger’s privacy policy .

Aggregated reach measurement

Regardless of your decision about Google Analytics, this web server counts how often a page is actually loaded in a browser. We store only aggregated counts by date, page path and — where present in the requested address — technical campaign identifiers (UTM parameters). The counter used for this purpose does not set cookies or create a persistent identifier on your device, and it stores neither IP addresses nor complete referrer addresses in the counter. Its purpose is, in particular, to compare the link clicks reported by advertising systems with landing pages that were actually loaded. The processing and server logging technically necessary to access a page are described in the section ‘Accessing the website and server logs’.

Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This website’s measurement ID is G-YGC78HBV6N. Google Analytics helps us understand how our website is used and which content is particularly relevant to visitors.

This may involve processing, in particular, the pages viewed, the time and duration of the visit, approximate geographical information, technical information about the browser, device and operating system, and interactions with the website. Google Analytics uses its own cookies and similar technologies for this purpose. According to Google, IP addresses of users in Switzerland, the EU and the United Kingdom are discarded before being logged; approximate location information may first be derived from the IP address.

The Google tag is loaded only after your active consent. Until then, we do not transmit any analytics data to Google. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change it at any time using the permanently visible ‘Cookie settings’ button or withdraw your consent for the future. Declining does not affect your use of the website.

Processing by Google companies or service providers outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out. Google describes the data protection and transfer mechanisms used for this purpose in its own privacy information. If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide to answer your enquiry and conduct the related correspondence. Please do not send confidential health data by unencrypted email.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may, in particular, request information about the processing of your personal data and ask for their correction or deletion.
